Anode Labs is a workbench.
A small, deliberate audio-plugin studio run by one person. Everything is built in-house — DSP, UI, tooling — because that is where the satisfaction is.
Founder
Michele “Mirko” Caserta
Software engineer for three decades, mostly in backend systems and distributed platforms. Started Anode Labs in 2026 to spend his attention on audio DSP, modern C++, and the kind of boutique plugin work that only gets done when you refuse to ship something you do not understand.
The name “Anode” is borrowed from vacuum-tube jargon — the anode is where the signal finally makes it through. It is also a reminder that great sound can come from precise, measurable hardware. Anode Labs is built on the same premise.

We write the DSP from scratch so you hear the instrument, not the library.
That means modelling silicon quirks by hand instead of wrapping someone else’s code. It means one product, built properly, shipping everywhere — macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS — with nothing held back per platform. It takes longer. It sounds better.
